Hey Everyone, We stopped at Hattie B’s while visiting Nashville, and it definitely has that classic hot chicken atmosphere—busy, lively, and full of energy. My husband ordered the chicken to try the different heat levels, and it lived up to its reputation for bold, spicy flavor. While I didn’t personally eat, I was able to see multiple orders come out at the counter, and everything looked fresh, well-prepared, and consistent in portion size. They offer a wide range of heat levels, so you can choose how spicy you want to go. It’s definitely a spot for people who enjoy heat. I also noticed they had a variety of sauces available and even packaged items like chicken skin crisps to take home, which was a nice touch. Overall, it’s a great place to visit if you want to experience authentic Nashville hot chicken—just be ready for the spice and the crowd!

This is an absolute must while in Nashville. The chicken here is *amazing*. The spice levels are pretty true to what you'd expect, too. I got the grits instead of fries this time and it was absolutely the right choice. Been here a few times now, and I don't think you can go wrong. Their fries are also seasoned with something (not sure what) and they are so good, even plain.

If you’re visiting Broadway in Nashville, Hattie B's Hot Chicken is definitely worth the wait! Since it’s right in the tourist area, expect a line. We waited about 25 minutes standing outside but the service moved quickly and the staff did a great job keeping the seating area clean and organized. The food came out hot, fresh, and clearly made to order. I tried the mac and cheese, mild chicken sandwich, fries, greens, and baked beans, and everything was flavorful and delicious. We topped it all off with the peach cobbler à la mode… chef’s kiss! Absolutely amazing and the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, great food, fast moving service, and an experience that lived up to the hype. Definitely a must try spot on Broadway!

I’ve been going to Hattie B’s for so many years, but this is my first time at the Broadway location. As someone who is a local in Nashville, I don’t find a lot of reasons to go to the restaurants downtown because of how expensive it is to park everywhere. Really the only reason I’ll go to a restaurant downtown is if I’m already going to be downtown for something else. My boyfriend and I went to Hattie B’s on a weeknight before a show at the Ryman and we were pleasantly surprised to find that we were able to order and get a table very quickly. I remember seeing this location with a line out the door for so long that it was so different seeing it without one! I got my classic order of a fried chicken sandwich (medium) with fries and my boyfriend got his sandwich with baked beans. We also got an extra side of Fried Pickles. The sandwiches were good as they normally are, though a little bit on an oilier side than I’ve had them before. I always love Hattie B’s fries. The Baked Beans were actually a lot better than I was expecting so that was great! The Fried Pickles were not necessarily my thing, but I always love to try something new! This location is definitely very convenient if you already have another reason to be downtown, but I probably wouldn’t go otherwise especially with so many other Hattie B’s locations that are much more convenient to get to.

Girl who served us was miserable as sin but otherwise we had a great meal! Shut The Cluck Up is fun to try but you'd have to be a serious spice lover to eat a whole tender! Portions are massive! Great chicken, great sides... especiallythe cheddar grits!
