Five stars all around! From the drinks and delicious food to the live music and vibrant atmosphere, everything exceeded our expectations. The service was exceptional, and Taylor went above and beyond to make sure our party of eight had a fantastic experience. Everyone in our group had an amazing time. I would absolutely recommend this place and will definitely be back!

the restaurant itself was beautiful, the music, and the architecture was amazing. however i do think the steaks were a little overpriced as they weren’t worth the price. i ordered a filet mignon that came burnt around the edges which threw off the taste, and my husband ordered the ribeye, which while good, had a lot of fat. i won’t complain too much because the ranch house salad was amazing. literally the best salad i had ever had. i’ve been looking since then to find the type of cheese that was used because it was literally just that good. if you come to this restaurant i highly recommend the salad.

Obviously this is a long review so if you don’t make it much farther than this, just know that we were so glad we ended up here for lunch and that we’ll be dreaming about our meal for a while. We drove by this place on our way to park for the other place we’d planned to eat lunch at and pivoted to eating here instead. Maria was wonderful and the atmosphere was just.. a vibe. We went when it was slow and the ambiance of live music, mixed with the uniquely styled interior of the restaurant was just so perfect. It’s a very open space with high ceilings and what looked to be plenty of seating in various areas, including outdoors. The food and drinks were DIVINE. The Waffle Cone Smoked Old Fashioned was, (without using the official term used by drinkers), very polished and smooth. I, myself, am not typically a drinker but will sip off of everything my partner, (who is a drinking connoisseur), wants to share with me. This was possibly the tastiest and smoothest one I’ve had thus far. So good that I kept swiping the glass and taking sips. It had no initial immediate twinge on the tongue. It was sweet and smooth with a very slow after burn and a pleasant aftertaste. Our personal preference was to sip the cocktail and then nibble on the mini stroopwaffle. As an appetizer, we ordered the Beets & Burrata. Our goal when we go out to eat is to order something we don’t typically see at other establishments and this stood out to us the most. The texture and flavor of the dish all melded together beautifully. It’s super important to, if you order this, make sure to get a little bit of everything on every fork full you grab for the full experience. Next, we ordered their Grilled Ribeye with a side of Honey Garlic Brussels. Hands down, one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. It was cooked to perfection/order, cut like butter, and practically melted in your mouth. The seasoning was perfect, it wasn’t greasy, and it wasn’t as grossly filling as a steak you might get from Texas Roadhouse, Longhorn Steakhouse, Outback, etc. With it being a 14oz., it was easily shareable. We cut the steak in half and split the generous side portion of the Brussels the same. Speaking of the Brussels, they were also in their own little world. Cooked all the way through, with crunchy leaves on the outside and a honey glaze coating every single one- these were surprisingly more flavorful than we had expected and a perfect compliment to the steak. If you like Brussels, this is a MUST. There’s plenty of extra runoff from the glaze to make sure your Brussels stay coated and even to try dipping a piece of steak in if you want a hint of sweetness. Moving on to DESSERT. Uhhh, maybe the best bread pudding ever? (Close second to your cooking relative’s famous recipe). The Brioche Bread Pudding is a sweet potato bread pudding that melts in your mouth, but not in a soggy way. The sweet potato is not pasty and doesn’t change the usual, classic texture of bread pudding by much. It’s not overwhelming and it’s totally worth ordering with that scoop of ice cream. If you like both bread pudding and sweet potatoes, don’t sleep on this- just order it and don’t look back. It’s dense but not rich, sweet but not nauseatingly so. To wrap this up, I’ll just say that I’m sure other things on the menu wouldn’t disappoint but my expectations were most definitely exceeded when it came down to every little aspect of the meal. Everything was melt-in-your-mouth, make-you-salivate-when-it-hits-your-tongue delicious. Please, do yourself a favor and don’t visit on a budget or you might regret missing out on something you wish you’d gotten to try. Before I sign off, I HAVE to give the hugest shoutout to our server, Maria. She was the sweetest, most honest, most attentive, most personable server we’ve encountered in a LONG time and she deserves so much recognition for the work she put in to make our dining experience rank in our top 3. We live ~7 hours away but we’ll most definitely be back.

Got a last minute reservation which was a nice surprise on a Friday. Crowd was small at first but built quickly, the accomodated us with 3 and gave us a booth so we could see the live singers which was a great part of the experience. Started with the old fashioned which I assumed would be all show, but was actually very expertly done. Not watered down, a good pour, and really well mixed. The honey wings were also really excellent, see the picture (they were as good as they looked) My wife and I split the NY Strip and my daughter had the burger. The chopped wedge salad was also really well executed. Even though we split it, it was more than we could eat. For a steakhouse especially it was a really good value. The service was also a real high point. The GM Houston stopped by to check on our food and was just so kind in sharing his appreciation and his local knowledge about other spots we might try while in town. Such a genuine guy, it made an otherwise great experience really special.
