I've been to many Mexican restaurants in the US and I'd have to say this is one of my favorites! The workers are very friendly and seem to be lovely people. The food was well cooked and flavorful, and the drinks were fantastic as well! Genevieve is a wonderful bartender and made my experience very pleasant. Will definitely return!

Went to this restaurant on Cinco de Mayo. Based on flyer seen on IG. The atmosphere was blah. Not the vibe for Cinco de Mayo. Upon entering the restaurant no one was available to seat us. Had to ask bartender if we seat ourselves. After finally being seated it took almost 30 minutes before a server came to greet us. Service was not good. The time it took to get drinks and food was almost an hour. The food was not good. One of the items needed to be returned cause it was horrible. Management told us it couldn't be taken off the bill only exchanged for another item. Red flag for me. The establishment charges 18% service charge for the bill so it made it feel pointless to even tip for the poor service received. I will never return or refer anyone to eat here.

By the water!! I recently visited this Mexican bar in Virginia Beach and overall had a really good experience. The atmosphere had great energy — good music, a lively crowd, and that fun vibe you want when you’re out with friends. The drinks were solid, especially the margaritas, and the bartenders were friendly and working hard to keep up with the rush. The food had great flavor and you can tell they’re aiming to deliver an authentic Mexican bar experience. With just a little more consistency and attention to detail, this place could easily be one of the top spots in the area. I truly hope the bar continues to grow and improve because it has a lot of potential. With a few small adjustments in service speed and organization during busy hours, it could go from good to amazing. I’ll definitely give it another visit and look forward to seeing it get even better.
