Casual dining at it's finest with hint of sports bar. First time coming here. Won't be the last!!! Experience was great from the moment we stepped. We were pleasantly greeted and seated by Kaitlin. Soon after Michele, our server introduced herself. Menu has a variety of selections from beer, mixed drinks, apps on down. All the food is scratch made on site. We had crablegs, barbecue, fried shrimp and they're renowned liver & onions. Everything was fresh, well prepared and delicious!!! The portions were very generous. I don't think there's a bad selection on the menu. They have a separate bar area as well. We got to meet the chef and even the owner. As a matter of fact, the owner was having his dinner. I'm impressed when management eats their establishments food!!! Family friendly. You should really stop by!!

Disappointing. First, menu was confusing and unclear. No section for drinks, so I ordered a lemonade which they don't serve. No sides listed on the menu. Unclear which sections come with how many sides except "entrees". Ordered clam strips app, half rack ribs w mac and taters, greek wrap w apple sauce. Clam strips...gritty and mad chewy. I grew up with NY and New England clams, never had to spit out a clam that was too chewy until Icehouse. Practically inedible and didn't finish. The cocktail sauce was very good. The tartar sauce had...nutmeg or cinnamon? Never encountered that before either, ever, and it was overpowering. Bad. Ribs were good, fall off the bone indeed! Sauce was fantastic. Mac and cheese was good, loved the white pepper finish. The taters tasted like...dirt. no butter, no cream, just hot mashers that tasted like actual dirt. Greek wrap solid. Apple sauce was fantastic, wish we got more sides of apple sauce. Pickles nice and tasty. Price for everything was also solid. App, 2 entrees and 2 desserts costed $57, which I felt was fair. Unfortunately, I don't think the food was good enough for us to return when we are back in VB.

Lonely beach times. 🌊 Sometimes you find your place. Sometimes you just can't. Though you try and try. And try some more. "Keep moving!" The days pass. Long, for most. You know yourself lost. Still. And on it goes. Tired. Lost. Moving. Stepping. Eyes so tired. Until suddenly, your spirit takes that good slap. "Heyyy! Young waitress was fantastic. Food was very good overall. It's a Buffalo fan bar on game day which we weren't expecting. No complaints at all. Might try dinner next time for a more quaint atmosphere. Wasn't expecting a bar environment, but a great group of locals for sure .

I’m actually surprised it’s taken me this long to leave a review!! I’ve eaten at Icehouse Restaurant for years and have loved it just as long. I grew up going with my Dad when we’d visit him at the beach and as an adult even when I’ve lived out of state I never miss getting my crab legs and key lime pie when I’m in town even if we only have time for takeout. We are moving back soon and one of the things I’m excited for most is being close to this nostalgic restaurant and being able to have it whenever I want. It’s local, it’s lovely, and I wouldn’t change a thing ❤️
