My husband and I had lunch at the Bunker and could not have made a better choice for food and drinks. We got the loaded waffle fries, fried green tomatoes, and the honey chipotle Mahi Mahi. My husband said the Mahi Mahi was "unbelievable!" I loved my fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese. The loaded waffle fries were great too. I appreciated that they had hard cider as well as beer so I was able to get the strawberry rhube awakening, which tasted like strawberries and had a nice tart taste. The service was fast and friendly. We had a fantastic time!

The Bunker Brewpub is a really solid spot if you're looking for good beer, a relaxed atmosphere, and a place that feels a little different from the typical pub scene. The food was good overall. The menu had a nice range of pub favorites, and the portions were generous. A couple of dishes could have used a bit more seasoning, but nothing that took away from the experience. Service was friendly and laid-back, though it did get a little slow when the place filled up later in the evening. That said, the staff stayed positive and attentive despite the crowd. Overall, The Bunker Brewpub is definitely worth visiting. With great beer, a cool setting, and solid pub food, it's a place I'd happily return to. With a few small tweaks to pacing and seasoning, it could easily become a five-star spot.

My wife and I stopped by The Bunker Brewpub for a casual dinner. The Drunken Mussels were average, but nothing special. The Virginia Beach Hot Chicken Sandwich looked great but tasted like a grilled cheese with a plain fried patty-no spice at all. My wife's Seafood Pasta had a watery, flavorless sauce. Overall, typical pub food that was under-seasoned and bland. Staff were friendly, attentive, and a highlight-made the meal enjoyable despite the food. Great spot for drinks, atmosphere, or live music, but l'd skip a full meal next time. Would return for beers, not rushing back for dinner.

Tried this restaurant on a whim and was absolutely surprised. Staff was spectacular (professional, attentive and provided great suggestions). Ordered up the following: -Two seperate flights of beer -Drunken mussels -Cajun Shrimp egg rolls w/ rice & beans -She Crab Soup -Seafood Pasta All were served hot, presentation was great and each were deliciously prepared with great flavors. I would highly recommend this location and look forward to returning to try additional menu options! 5*****

Visiting VB and stopped in to eat. The Atmosphere was awesome. It was welcoming, lively. The food was also really good. There was a mix up with burger temperatures between both of our burgers, but it was still good. The crab dip was 5 🌟. The service however left a lot to be worked with. It took forever for her to do anything for us. She didn’t greet us until about 10 min after we sat there, got our drinks and appetizer order, then we did not see her again until well after we finished our appetizer. After ordering, someone else had to fill our water, we were done eating (someone else brought the food) before she checked on us again. If we are back, we may give it another shot, but hopeful for better service in the future.
