I'd popped my head in here one day while walking down the street and asked if they were dog friendly, they'd had such a great response into welcoming him and insisted we came back later for dinner with him. We done so and, of course, sat on the deck. Spacious and right off the main stretch, fun spot to people watch and and just take in the atmosphere of VA Beach. Waitress was very attentive. I wish I'd remembered her name because she really was great, kept our dogs bowl full of water, and even brought him treats. She was quick to take our orders and ensured that drinks were always kept full, which meant a ton on a hot evening. Great shade despite being outside. It was comfortable. We ordered multiple burgers, lots of drinks, and a huge burrito! Everything came out really well and was full of flavor. We really enjoyed our dinner here and rated it amongst one of the best family dinners we'd had on the trip. We'll definitely eat here more in future visits!

Stopped by on Tuesday night and went to the bar as we usually do to get a good view of the tvs and we noticed that the same bartender was there that had been really awesome the last few times we had been over the years. I think his name is Tony but I know for sure he said he does catering. Ordered drinks and some apps and everything came out hot and fresh. I ordered the nachos and wings and the half portion of nachos is huge so be mindful if you get them but they were great. My wife had the shrimp and chips and guacamole that she really liked. The star of the show was the drinks, my wife ordered the bucket special and a lemondrop that she loved. I had a crown and ginger which is simple yet effective! I really did this review to shout out "Tony" he really knows how to take care of his customers and we wanted to be sure to recognize him. If his name isn't Tony we have to rename him🤣🤣. Also there was a guy that came from the back that brought our food out and made sure that we were all set too. Also saw we were done with some stuff and cleared it even though we weren't his table.

I should’ve dine and dashed. It’s a pricey restaurant, but I already did the math on what I ordered and expected to pay a set amount. When I received the check, there was an additional $13 for fees and gratuity. My service was definitely not worth the automatic tip they calculated. We didn’t even get asked our drink order until almost 10 minutes after we sat, and the place was empty. Staff was just sitting around or leaning against the wall. I ordered the friend shrimp, which was good, but it had a hair in it. Why am I paying an extra $13 for hair in my food? Ridiculous and sloppy.

The prices are steep but I say that only because the portion sizes are not the best. If you do one of their bowls, you'll likely be hungry a couple of hours later. The food is OK, but not as good as I'd expect from the restaurant's appearance and menu. We got ours to go so cannot speak to the dine in experience, though they did have ample outdoor seating out front.

Best Tex-Mex food in all of VB hands down. Gorgeous decor and very clean bathrooms! The menu is very creative and the ingredients are very fresh tasting. Service was spectacular as was the food. The best part is they have fresh smoked pork and brisket that is to die for!!! 🤤
