Even in downtown on a Friday afternoon, it had a parking lot and I didn’t have to pay for parking. The seating was covered but outdoors. The atmosphere was cool. Seemed down to earth and comfortable. My son got slider and fries kids meal for $7. I got a lunch combo number 2 of burger slider and side salad for $8. My husband got burger of the month for $14.50. We all loved our food! It was great value and tastes great. There was a fun play area for the kids to run around and play. The waitresses were all bubbly, kind and knowledgeable. We went with 2 friends and there was no issue splitting the bill or having enough space for a mixed party of 5. We went for lunch after visiting the San Antonio Zoo which was nearby and highly recommend!

Husband and I randomly stumbled upon this place because we were looking for something to eat real quick. Thought we take it to go but the inside was very nice and cozy, sat down and Kimberly was quick and friendly! We got our food in a very timely manner and we were VERY IMPRESSED, I got the Southwest Chicken Panini and my husband got the Turkey burger 🍔 you could taste that the food was made with care and passion, would love to come here again!

We had an amazing lunch - even enjoyed the lunch special plus military discount! Thanks Shaelyn for amazing service with a smile and even a bobby pin or two! Fish tacos are great but so are the 🍔!! Fun spot with plenty of space for groups! Eat inside or out - fans help keep air circulating and

If you’re anywhere near Tycoon Flats in San Antonio, do yourself a favor and order The Roasted Garlic Signature. I don’t throw praise around lightly, but this might be the best burger on the face of the earth. The patty was cooked to perfection, thick, juicy, seasoned just right. Melted Swiss dripping down the sides like it was meant to be there. And that roasted garlic signature sauce? Absolute knockout. Garlic, onions, layers of peppers and spices, roasted and caramelized into something bold, rich, and unforgettable with the mustard I added. Sweet heat, savory depth, every bite better than the last. The bun held strong. No soggy surrender. Just solid burger craftsmanship from top to bottom. Now let’s talk about those onion rings. Golden, crispy, perfectly battered with that crunch that echoes through the soul. Paired with this burger, heavenly. I’m talking sit back in your chair and close your eyes kind of good. And Lamar, outstanding service. Attentive, professional, friendly. Drinks stayed full, food came out hot, and he made the whole experience even better. San Antonio really has become a foodie paradise. Perhaps because of the tourism heavy nature of the city, or the CIA having a campus here, or just the unique confluence of cultures here. But in a wold of really great hamburgers, diversity matters a lot. That is what makes Tycoon Flats so great - the variety of unique, perfectly blended and expertly prepared hamburgers. After my wife first ate The Feta, Cranberry & Candied Bacon Burger, she said she felt like she should have a cigarette, and she doesn't smoke. 🙂
