Tried the new Max and Louie’s in Cibolo today and loved every bit of it! We joined the waitlist online and only waited about 10 mins after arriving. We will definitely be doing that again! Food was fantastic! Don’t sleep on the chopped liver! It was rich and delicious! Hubs got the pastrami sandwich and devoured it. We shared a giant bowl of fries and got the brown gravy on the side to dip the fries in. I could drink that gravy. So smooth and flavorful! We got a cannoli and a giant piece of carrot cake. Literally melt in your mouth! The service was impeccable. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. Bossmen Drew and Dan were making the rounds and making sure everyone had what they needed as well. Dan made some recommendations to try on our next visit (meatloaf and egg salad and to eat the carrot cake at room temperature), which I believe we will! 5 stars! Highly recommend!

This place is great!! The Robert Stack challenge is crazy! He almost knocked it out, but failed 😔. The food was all great! Bloody Mary's are very good! Staff is excellent! We arrived at 10am and were seated by 11am on Valentines day. Also the expresso martini was very good!

We had the pleasure of checking out this restaurant for our anniversary, and boy did we enjoy it. The food was good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and our server was excellent. Maria G, helped us, and her service was amazing. She definitely helped us with ordering our food and had great suggestions. Such a kind lady and we will be back for sure.

Our waiter told us that the whole menu was available. When we ordered what we wanted, we were told that they couldn't make that at this time. Is the whole menu available or no??? Anyway, I was given recommendations on the Philly Cheesesteak Omlet which I did order. It was super bland. Had to douse it with hot sauce, salt and pepper just to get some flavor into it. My wife got the Bagel and Lox Sandwich. The bagel was super tough and hard. Sh had a hard time even eating it. Our server seemed to be lost and wandering around a lot. Took our order and then disappeared. I noticed that two other couples, that arrived about 10 minutes after we did (the had a different server) ordered and got their meals long before we got ours. Don't quite know why an omlet and a bagel took so long. We sat there at least 20 minutes waiting on our food as our server wandered somewhat aimlessly around. We ran out of coffee and had to stop a different server to get a refill as our server was talking at the hostess station. I haven't been to Max and Louie's for a while but the last time I was there, I remember the service being top notch and the food being super delish. This visit was a total miss.

Food was nice and hot. Only complaint was onion rings were tasted like they were just sitting for a while. Other than that, rest of the food was delicious and service was awesome!
