This was my first time trying Gus and I can definitely say it does not disappoint. Now I’m not a hot and spicy chicken eater but I can say I can definitely handle this chicken. There is a bit of spice but not overwhelming and doesn’t leave your mouth burning. The fries and Mac & Cheese was my absolute favorite I honestly could just order them by themselves and eat them without the chicken. The portions and prices are also very reasonable and the customer service was top tier.

I really thought that I'd tasted some of the best fried chicken when I visited a local restaurant in my home town. Well that's not the case in any stretch of my imagination. This place Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken is all that the name says and more. The staff is very professional and courteous. The food is more than just good.... it's AMAZING!!!! They actually cook the chicken as you order it which means you get it fresh out of the grease!!! It is very flavorful with just a slight spicy kick. The sides are just as tasty as the chicken, and that is what sets this place apart from any other chicken place that I've ever had and really that's no lie!!! Words can't describe just how awesome the food is at this place. All I can say is you have to find a location where you live, or close to where you live, or travel to a place where one is located, and try it out for yourself!!! There's one about an hours drive from where I live, and you can believe that the wife and I will definitely be going to find it!!! I rate this experience and this place an A++++++++++++++++++++

Came in with my boyfriend for the first time. Had the warmest welcome in and had the pleasure of being served by “Sandy” thank you Sandy for elevating our experience. Not only will we be back for chicken but definitely will be back to experience her warm smile and excellent customer service. 10/10 recommend!!

Faster than fast, if you're trying to go from ordering to eating quickly. I walked 15 minutes to get here and I'd walk for twice that long and still come out on top. The baked beans were warm but not burnt, and the chicken tasted like they know what they're doing. Try the chess pie if you want a classic dessert. My server Genesis (sp?) was approachable and friendly and made sure I was satisfied several times despite being a lone diner among her bigger tables. I will be looking for reasons to come back this way.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner for the first time tonight, and it will NOT be our last. We sat and then we had the absolute pleasure of meeting our server for the night, Maria. Her personality was very friendly and upbeat and her smile was contagious. She explained to us Gus's recipe history and the heat levels which I appreciated as i cant do too spicy. The food was PHENOMENAL, juicy with just the right spice. The staff all seem to be in great spirits and the manager even came by the table to assist me at one point. We throughly enjoyed our visit and will return. Thank you Maria for an amazing experience.
