I wasn’t expecting much and this restaurant surprised me in a very nice way. The server was really nice (and extra patient with kids) at all times. I was supposed to have a salad and ended up ordering the baby back ribs and let me tell you, they were excellent! Ordered fries and mashed potatoes on the side and the latter was delicious. It is a little bit overpriced, yes, but worth every penny. Take a balcony facing the river walk and thank me later.

I visited this restaurant during my trip to San Antonio, and the location itself is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning view of the River Walk. Initially, the service was excellent. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. When I ordered my first beer, it was served in a proper glass, which added to the experience. However, after I stayed a little longer and continued ordering food and drinks, I noticed a change in her attitude. When I ordered another beer, it was served in a plastic cup. When I politely asked why, she explained that they had run out of glassware. Unfortunately, I could clearly see other guests being served in regular glasses at the same time. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I understand how important it is to make every guest feel valued and treated with consistency and respect. Sadly, that was not the experience I had here. While the atmosphere and view were wonderful, I left feeling disappointed by the inconsistency in service.

Ordered the bacon wrapped filet for $33 and a Lone Star $4 happy hour draft - everything was just OK- not a place I would return to. I asked for steak rate and it was rare- but no flavor. Had a side salad and choose no other side. Sitting outside was nice to see all the river activity.

Had a graduation party and it was decorated beautifully by Miss Kelly! We chose to do a buffet style barbecue menu. Brisket was tender and had good flavor. Sausage had a crisp casing which added to the delicious flavor. Potato salad and coleslaw were good too. Beans and Mac and cheese was awesome. Beans had a little kick to them. Mac and cheese was creamy and packed with cheese. Also came with salad and rolls. Would definitely recommend and go back.

Disclaimer: I rate this place as a $$ establishment. I had a 10 oz house steak served with two sides for $26, which I find reasonable for this venue. The service was very engaging and attentive to customers. The atmosphere in the dining room is acceptable, but the outdoor seating offers a greater experience, especially with views overlooking the Riverwalk. Surprisingly, the place was relatively empty for a 6:30 PM visit compared to other options, which may be due to the lack of direct access to the Riverwalk (tbd) or the preference for higher-end dining for business dinners. I recommend this spot for a casual meal.
