overall, pretty good food and drinks but overpriced. The salmon was flavored but dry/overcooked. The carne asada and the churasco were very good. the sweet plantains and the tostones were delicious. The spicy shrimp and shrimp ceviche were sooo yummy, but the spicy shrimp is REALLY hot. the empanadas were really good. the salad that comes with the carne asada and the one with the salmon are both lackluster. the chicken was good. the rice is unspiced. the chicharonnes and yuca fries were good, especially with the ranch. the drinks are very strong. the berry mojito was okay, just very oversweetened. The melon ball and blue martini are both delicious. the margarita is pretty good and the passionfruit/jalapeño margarita isnt spicy enough but good. the lemonades are also delicious. the passionfruit cheesecake was sour, the chocolate cake and the limencello cake are both very dry, but the tres leches cake was very good. they are understaffed so the service was slow and the food was cold coming out. The waitress did a good job, but the restaurant itself was not staffed well. the food isnt really worth the price to me. it's also very dark in there and a little too loud!

LULO catered a wedding at our venue this past weekend, and everything was absolutely perfect! Every guest raved about how delicious the food and drinks were, and the cake they made was absolutely stunning. Their servers and bartenders were excellent. Highly highly recommend LULO for your wedding catering needs!

Well that took forever. I think it took 15mins to get us drinks, and another 15mins to get our food. And there was hardly anyone in the restaurant! Food didn't really have any seasoning. The guac was really good though I'll give them that. I think they just want the place to look cool rather than feed people.

Weird and regrettable experience. I should probably have spent a few extra minutes to read more of the Google reviews closely, many of which were spot on: "stay far away," posted two weeks ago, should have been enough. I arrived and was directed (via a sign) to go downstairs. I did, and the server asked, "Can I help you?" Ummm, I'm here to eat. (I wondered if he thought that I stumbled downstairs accidentally, looking for a job or lost and in need of directions.) I told him that I wanted a table. So, he pointed me to a table and made a lighthearted comment, gave a quarter smile, and chuckled, like "You can sit at table one for one." That was the extent of his kindness. Inherently, I don't think he is charismatic person, which is fine, but his effort to connect ended there. He worked alone, the basement had a few tables. I can imagine he was stressed, I've been there as a server. The strawberry limonada was good, and my meal was good too. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were modest. Definitely wasn't boxing anything up to take home. He asked me about the drink earlier, but never checked on the meal. The three stars comes from the moment he dropped off the check and told me that he added gratuity, and it hasn't been sitting well with me ever since. I've since read one other review where someone complained about the service charge, but to be charged for gratuity, a party of one, on a Thursday, where there were maybe 5 or 6 other tables, with parties ranging from 2 to 9 or 10? This was my first meal out in Cleveland, but I know this cannot be a thing for this city, to be charged gratuity. I might have given him something similar or close, but to be forced to give him that amount for service that I found mediocre at best is a bit insulting. The atmosphere was inviting, the floors were clean, and I found the chef/possible owner (older gentleman) a bit endearing. (Had a pleasant disposition, asked about my meal on my way out, and said goodbye in my last two minutes in the restaurant, but it was far more effort than my server could muster.)

stay far away In short the carne asada was great and basically everything else was horrendous. I don't think I've been to a restaurant that had service as bad as this, with staff running around looking dazed and confused. Nobody seemed to know who ordered what or where any of the tables were. We were asked multiple times if this was our food and it was never our food. We were seated at 6:30 for our reservation, and our food did not arrive until 7:50 after we checked back in on it multiple times with our server and were told that it was coming soon. We had also ordered an appetizer that had never arrived. And he couldn't tell us where it was.Our bets are that it was delivered to another table.Just with the observations, we were making. multiple people got up and left or had tried to leave and spoke to someone in charge to then have their food delivered pretty quickly after. They ended up giving us our drinks for free. But when we were filling out the bill, we noticed there was a service charge attached, which was pretty hefty considering what we actually received from our original order. As we were a party of two I have never seen this charge at any other restaurant unless it's a specialty restaurant experience type thing. We also noticed on the menu that they had the same drink listed twice for different prices. Clearly nobody reviewed this before it was printed. If they continue to operate this way, I would be surprised if they are open by next year. JOKE
