10 out of 10 for food, service, and atmosphere. Half of us ordered off the all-day breakfast menu and half of us ordered dinner. Everything was fresh and so good. The portions were amazing and the side house potatoes were probably the best potatoes I've ever had. Most importantly we were immediately welcomed with smiles by the hosts and our waitress was so friendly too, it was refreshing! Visiting from St. Louis, MO and Eleven City popping up when searching local places with good reviews. So glad we made it during our visit.

This is my husband’s and my new go-to place for any meal when we’re in Chicago! We were just here for 3 days and literally went there every. single. day. First of all, we’ve always been seated before the estimated wait time, and our food arrives no later than 10 min after we order. But most importantly, the food is AMAZING. This past weekend, we each got 3 different dishes and EVERYTHING was mouth-watering good and HUGE portion sizes! Oh, and they’re homemade root beer?? Get OUTTA here 🤯😍 Our waiters have been great—great work ethic, running all over cuz they’re busy but still taking good care of us, and seems like they’re having a fun time. The only 2 negative things, and not even negative enough to take off a star, but more just informational for those deciding to try this place out: 1. The environment is very loud. Some may like it because it adds to the overall old fashioned diner vibes. But I had a very difficult time as a 32 year old hearing my waiter, so I can’t imagine a hard-of-hearing customer being able to have any sort of conversation. 2. The milkshakes are large, but the flavor isn’t anything spectacular. My chocolate shake was actually TOO chocolatey (and that’s saying a lot coming from me). The milkshakes are about the only thing on the menu that I do believe is overpriced for the quality.

If you’re in Chicago, do yourself a favor and check out Eleven City Diner. The food was excellent and the service was beyond excellent — one of those places where the staff genuinely makes the experience better. The French toast was fantastic, but the real star of the meal was the brisket sandwich with their house dipping sauce. It’s almost like a consommé, but richer and packed with brisket flavor from the brine. Absolutely incredible. The Michelada was also one of the best I’ve had — made with their homemade mix and local Chicago beer. On top of all that, the atmosphere is awesome. Full old-school 1950s diner vibes with classic music playing the whole time. Great food, great service, and a really fun experience overall.

If you are looking for an incredible breakfast spot, this is it! The food here is executed perfectly. The breakfast sandwich was phenomenal—the eggs were hands-down the fluffiest I've ever had, and the bacon was perfectly cooked with amazing flavor. Also, do not skip the pancakes. They are incredibly fluffy on the inside with a beautifully crispy outer edge, and they have a fantastic vanilla flavor that elevates the whole stack. The atmosphere has a great, nostalgic old-school diner vibe, made even better by the jazz music playing in the background. It sets the perfect morning mood. To top it all off, our server Joaquin was ABSOLUTELY amazing. He was attentive, friendly, and provided top-tier service that made a great meal even better. I’ll absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

What a great discovery this place turned out to be. We noticed a crowd waiting right at opening time and decided to check it out, and the energy inside felt fun and inviting. The food absolutely lived up to the atmosphere. The Reuben egg roll and the mini Reubens were fantastic, full of flavor and perfectly done. I also tried the corned beef hash and a pickle plate, which was exactly what it promised and very satisfying. Definitely glad we stopped in.
