Listen… the prices are high as hell for chicken and mac & cheese BUT it was absolutely delicious, and a good time was definitely had. Big shoutout to Janay, our server, for being so fun, welcoming, and unapologetically Black I love seeing that energy and feeling right at home. She made the whole experience even better. Now, they’ll tell you the sides are individual portions and honestly… they are not. They’re enough for two people, it can start to feel like a bit of a money grab especially since the 20% gratuity is already included, and of course the higher the bill, the bigger the tip (and people like me usually tip extra anyway). I just like knowing exactly what I’m paying for, and to be fair, the service and atmosphere made it worth it. The drinks were amazing, but pricey, and the appetizers? Scrumptious. We had the salmon bites and dream egg rolls, and both were packed with flavor. Overall, this is definitely a spot you need to check out. I’m excited to support and see my Black people thriving in spaces like this.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Kitchen + Kocktails Chicago, and Aja made it unforgettable! From the moment we were seated, she brought such positive energy, professionalism, and warmth to our table. She was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and gave fantastic recommendations. Aja checked on us consistently, made sure everything was perfect, and her personality truly elevated our entire dining experience. It’s rare to find service that feels both genuine and top-tier — but Aja delivered exactly that. If you visit Kitchen + Kocktails Chicago, ask for Aja. She is a true gem and represents the restaurant with excellence! ✨

Listen... O.M.G!!! 10/10 hands down!!! The food was AMAZING and the customer service is on point!!! The staff was very friendly from the moment we walked in. When I say this place is a vibe.... IT'S A VIBE!!! From the host Symone who went beyond to accommodate us, to our amazing server Katie, to the chef Eddie coming out to greet us... the entire experience was great! We are from Louisiana, and have very picky taste buds, and this place did more than meet our expectations ❤️ Thank you Kitchen & Kocktails Chicago!!!!

My first time celebrating my 60th and was impressed once I entered the establishment I was Wow!!! My server Janae, made my evening extra special by addressing all my questions and providing suggestions on the food as it was exceptional and I have to say, I’m not accustomed to Southern food like this and I was not only impressed with the presentation but the food was beyond my experience. I will definitely be back again and again. Thanks again Kitchen and Kocktails of Chicago. DL

I visited this establishment for my aunt’s birthday. We were all new and let’s just say WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!! Everyone was AMAZING!!!!! Jordyn was my waiter and let’s just say she COMPLETELY UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT!!!!!! Jordyn was so attentive, kind, just WONDERFUL!!!!! The manager Jayda also stopped by our table and was also so kind and personable. She wanted to make sure our table was having a great experience and to see if we needed anything. I will definitely be back! Last but not least, the food was chefs kiss!!!!!! 🙌🏽 I felt like I was eating my great grandmothers home cooking. Everything was so good. I’m excited to come back and try something else.
