The Kebab Shop, nestled in downtown San Diego, is a good choice for lunch or dinner. I built my own plate with chicken shawarma, fries, saffron rice, and pita. The food was good, but the fires weren’t seasoned much and I found myself looking to the sauces for additional taste overall. Fortunately the sauce bar has two really good sauce, those being the OG garlic yogurt sauce and the cilantro jalapeño sauce. Other than the good, the staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean.

Where do I start?! I absolutely love this place so much! It’s such a staple in little Italy (other than Italian food lol) I love the staff! Alyssa always greeting me with a smile and her amazing costumer service. Not to mention a few other stars like Safi, Lorena and Joy. Their cooking and welcomenesss is the reason I come back all the time. Thank you Kebab Stop and thank you friends for the amazing service and quality food. 100000/10 :)

The Kebab Shop (Little Italy) – A San Diego Gem! If you’re looking for a spot that hits the perfect balance of fresh ingredients, bold Mediterranean flavors, and top-tier service, The Kebab Shop in Little Italy is it. I stopped in today and was blown away. I ended up going with the Beef and Lamb Bowl, and I loaded it up a few of the fixings. I will try many more fixings next time around! The meat was seasoned to perfection—tender, savory, and exactly what I was craving. You can tell they don't cut corners on the quality here; every bite was amazing. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the service. Joy was absolutely incredible. I’m the type who likes to know exactly what’s going into my meal, and I hit her with a barrage of questions about the menu and the different ingredients. She didn't miss a beat! Joy was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful, making sure I got exactly what I wanted. The vibe of the shop is clean and modern, and they’ve got a great outdoor seating area if you want to soak up the San Diego sun while you eat. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor: grab a bowl and ask for Joy. Ordered online to pick up and everything was great. The salad was awesome with chicken. The wraps were huge and tasted great. We loved the variety of sauces too. I'll make a point to stop by again if I'm ever back in San Diego.

3:30pm Feb 22, 2026. I had thee worst service. The cashier was a childish girl making faces at the way I pronounced menu items and made me thee smallest most skimpiest wrap anyone has ever seen. I cant believe I even paid extra for hummus, yet there was only a teaspoon worth at the bottom of the wrap. I was ripped off as there definitely wasn't enough protein either! I drive so far for nothing! I'm never returning and never recommending this to my friends again. I've been humiliated! Our lunch was ruined. We left hungry.
