LOVE THIS PLACE !! the art on the walls are so cool & the burritos there are so delicious & flavorful, also try their amazing tacos. It was so good me & my boyfriend went back literally the next day lol! Very chill spot in the area of gaslamp, a hidden gem for sure. Give it a try, I recommend 10/10

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Insanely good tacos, really friendly staff, reasonable prices and no lines both times even during prime meal hours. Came by myself the first time and got the battered white fish and chipotle shrimp tacos, and I thought I was having a religious moment eating the chipotle shrimp. It’s just sooo good and perfectly cooked and saucy (very messy tho you’ve been warned). Dragged my family here two days later after hyping this place up and I was nervous it’d fall short of the very high expectations but they loved it too. We basically tried their entire taco menu. Favorites were the garlic shrimp, chipotle shrimp, and blackened salmon, but everything was amazing. Can’t wait to come back again.

Tacos are delicious! I was able to pop in real fast in my lunch break and eat in 30 minutes. The murals on the walls were done by street artists, it looks great with familiar charters from my comic book days. Loved this place, I'll be back

The Waves Taco Club is a great casual stop right in the heart of the Gaslamp District. It’s the perfect spot to grab a quick bite while exploring downtown, with a fun, laid-back energy that fits the area well. The shrimp tacos are the standout—fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right with a great balance of seasoning and texture. Definitely a must-order. The rest of the menu holds up too, with solid options across the board and generous portions. Service was quick and efficient, making it an easy go-to whether you’re stopping in for a fast lunch or a late-night bite. Overall, a great Gaslamp spot for quality tacos, especially if you’re craving some of the best shrimp tacos in the area. Very good!!!

This amazing spot was recommended to me and let me tell you, I had the best burrito I ever had! I wanted to switch things up so I ordered the octopus and it was great. They have a large selection to choose from and the portions are great for what you pay!
