We love this place. Very dog friendly with the patio area seating. The Mexican food is fresh and good. Service is good. Only drawback is this is one of the those places where they want you to tip prior to getting the meal. Fun spot! Great chips and salsa and really good prickly pear juice. A long line, but moved quickly enough. Order first and then they assign a table for you.

A cool place! Lines can get long, their process could be a bit better. Cocktails were excellent! We’ve recently dined there about a half dozen times, 4-5 star each time. They need to have All of their outdoor heaters working at night though.

How this place doesn’t have a solid five stars is beyond me. This was hands-down the best dinner we had in Tucson. The atmosphere was great, the prices were reasonable, and the food was truly scrumptious. You order at a window rather than at the table, but don’t let that deter you, the line moves quickly. We had a wonderful interaction with Edgar at the window. He was friendly, attentive, and asked all the right questions to make sure our order was exactly what we wanted. I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos and was thrilled to learn I could choose a side salad instead of the usual rice and beans, meaning I had room to order the mini chimis. Everything was delicioso!

A juxtaposition, but valid. This restaurant is located in the Mercado District and was spoken of heavily with great positivity from resort from that we traveled. As we pulled up to the restaurant on the resort bus there was a lengthy line snaking through the covered walk-way which passes to the courtyard of the complex. This long line I thought usually a good sign. The food smelled good, people were talkative, jolly as if they anticipating something good as was I. However, after waiting in line 20 minutes, ordering my food given a number flag and waiting another 35 minutes until I finally walked up and asked was there an issue with my order I was told there was an error with the receipt printing process, and my order had not been taken and fulfilled, and they were going to expedite it and do it right away. At this point, it was too late. I was already hangry, so it was uphill battle for me to see anything positive in the situation. After this afternoon, I did receive my food in about 10 or 12 minutes. I move to a table close to the delivery areas so the staff could see me as they’re in and out delivering trays everyone else and once I received my food, I was asked to move because the table l moved to was reserved for someone else! I did not move and the reservation was moved to another table. Originally my order was takeout so I could join my partner who was seated in another courtyard, but she was done her meal and had sought out my location. So this turned into a dine-in meal. Well, here comes the best part. The food was actually really good. It was fresh. The peppers and onions were all brightly color and flavorful. The meat was well seasoned and all the things were as good as they should’ve been, if not better, however, to ordering and late delivery of my food and then asking me to move to different table after having waited more than an hour in total time, was unacceptable and I made it clear. It was received, apologies provided and that was my experience. I was provided a meal voucher equivalent to the value of this mill, which I respect, but you don’t get a second opportunity to make a first impression however, I will give it a second try. I wish you a better encounter and watch out for the pigeons.
