Such a cute place! Love the atmosphere & the motif! They are known for their burgers, but have some good other options as well. I tried the ancient grains with grilled shrimp and avocado. It was a bit spicy, but very flavorful. It’s a fun place to go, modern and chic. They serve food until (I believe) 11 PM which is pretty awesome. The service was great.

Nice location downtown where we met some friends for dinner. Our server Jade was lovely and was amazing at balancing full martini glasses. I was told the Cosmopolitan was delicious. Atmosphere is very nice. Food was OK.

I’ve been going here for years, and even after all this time, I think the best way to describe Elsa’s is that it’s just its own vibe—part bistro, part lounge. Fantastic burgers, and they keep it fairly simple. It’s good food, interesting ambience, and a great place to grab a few cocktails and hang out. I brought my young son, and he tore into his grilled cheese sandwich, so yes, they’re known for their burgers, but they definitely have other worthwhile options on the menu. They’re basically a Milwaukee staple at this point. A great spot to start a night out—or finish one. By the way, you'll get a postcard when you pay your check. Fill it out, and add someone's address. They'll mail it out for you.

Met up with a group for dinner and drinks and had a really great time. Service was outstanding, attentive without being overbearing, and everything came out smoothly even with a larger group. Loved the vibe. It’s the kind of place you can actually relax, talk, and stay awhile without feeling rushed. Food was good across the board, no complaints there. Overall just an easy, enjoyable night and definitely a spot we’d come back

We stopped in for a burger before a concert on a Friday night at 6 pm. No crowds. Good service. Amazing burgers. I’ve been coming here for years and enjoying the teriyaki pork salad. Still so good after 20 years. Liked the installation art as always. Will be back. Martinis were one & done and fabulous, too. Thank you for being a consistent staple in the Milwaukee area. Top notch cathedral square establishment.
