The first thing you notice walking in is the smell of grilled sausages and toasted buns. The place had that lively sports bar energy with people watching games and plates of food moving constantly from the kitchen. The traditional bratwurst was exactly what you would hope for. Juicy sausage with that snap when you bite into it, served on a soft bun. The beer cheese soup ended up being richer than expected and perfect with the cooler weather outside. We also tried the cheese curds, which again felt like a Wisconsin requirement. Crispy outside and soft cheese inside. At some point someone ordered the loaded brat, which piled on toppings and made the whole thing even more satisfying. The meal ended with everyone leaning back and joking about how simple food like this somehow hits the spot better than anything fancy. It just felt fun and relaxed.

Was a good place to stop by and grab food! We went with the sausage platter, but the spicy one was too spicy and I love spicy! Sadly they one was wasted, but rest was good.

If you've been to McSorley's in NYC, you'll love the MBH. The shuttle to the ball game is a kick. Kelly the shuttle driver was THE BEST.

While staying in Milwaukee we had tickets to a Brewers game and had some time to kill. We were walking around and found the brat house. The bar was lively and there were a lot of brewers fans there pregaming. We orders some appetizers and we're happy to learn that we could take the shuttle to the game. We like the bar so much that we took the shuttle to the game and then back to the bar and continued to hang out. This place is highly recommended.

Straight up best brat house. Fills up every game cuz it is good. I get the brat sampler every time. The lunchbox beer drink is popular among my friends. My friend THIS IS A MUST STOP.
