I had a 5-hour Greyhound layover and this was the only place open—and what a massive blessing in disguise! The country fried steak, biscuits, and eggs were absolutely phenomenal. Beyond the incredible comfort food, my server, Jaz, was fantastic. She brought that genuine, warm Southern hospitality that completely turned my long travel day around. I’ll absolutely be making this a mandatory stop next time I’m passing through town!

We had the best experience at Red Eye Diner. Felix and Michael are truly great servers. Felix went above and beyond with hospitality and attention to detail. The shrimp and grits are so good, and we can't wait to come back to try the chicken and waffles. Thanks for the great food, atmosphere, and especially the service.

Visiting from NY and wanted a late night bite. Place was great and sat and served immediately. Overall everything including food was great. Bailey was awesome and provided top tier service! 10/10 come here for late night quality service.

We visited midday on a Friday. I got Fish Dinner, which was breaded fried fish (haddock I think), crinkle fries, and hushpuppies. Everything was delicious and the portion was perfect. Our GOAT Tom took no time at all to greet & seat us. It didn't take long for the food to come out hot and delicious. The menu is extensive, and I'm sure everything else on it is just as good as my meal was. This being a newer place (2016 I think), we weren't sure how the 50's diner vibe would hold up-- but boy were our expectations surpassed. Red neon lights, booths, silver ceiling, tile floors, and even music to fit the theme. We finished up with freshly made milkshakes, and they even came with the refill in the metal cup (my favorite)! I got a strawberry milkshake, and I know it was fresh because it had little strawberry pieces in it. A tad more flavor would be nice but honestly it was fantastic. Everything was perfect and I wouldn't hesitate to revisit.

I’ve been here twice, the most recent time I went here was with my dad after a few college basketball games. I was craving chicken and waffles and they had a 3 piece meal with a waffle. I will say it was good and all, the only disappointment was that of the portion size. The waffle was good, but unfortunately wasn’t the chicken wasn’t a thigh/leg, they were wings, and not a ton of meat. Not knocking the quality, it wasn’t really anything to boast about, but it was fine, it was like your standard chicken and waffles and it did the job. Our server was pretty friendly though and the service was good.
