TORIF 4 months agoBesides the wait which was expected, everything was pretty good. I was in a group of 9 and they were able to accommodate us. The waitress was absolutely wonderful and helpful in every way. The food was delicious.. highly recommend their amazing biscuits! The chicken was a bit on the bland side in my opinion but I would order again.
Anthony P. Robinson 3 months agoMy wife and I went to Midnight Diner for lunch, yesterday. The place was very busy. We were seated right away. We ordered onion rings as an appetizer. My wife ordered the country fried steak, with green beans and mashed potatoes, and I ordered spaghetti and a salad. For dessert, my wife ordered pecan pie, and I ordered cheese cake. All of the food was very good. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere was fun and interesting. The only downside to our dining experience was that our food came out fast. I received my salad, first. Less than two minutes later, our onion rings arrived. Approximately two minutes later, our main cources were brought to us. The individual dining tables are pretty small, and in under five minutes, our table was completely full with all of our food. It was logistically challenging, reaching across the table to eat from the various plates. All things considered, I think we'll eat there, again.
Comede Et Explora 3 weeks agoWe had a great experience at Midnight Diner! Fried chicken was tender, highly recommend with the honey mustard. Biscuits and Mac & cheese were phenomenal. Even though we were a big crowd they were able to seat us at booths next to each other and our food came out super quick. They were also very kind to the kids in our group. Free parking in the available spots but they go early!
Max Brilhart 2 months agoEasily the coolest diner I've been to. The menu had the perfect number of options; not disappointing or overwhelming. And Amber Rae is the best server ever! So kind and hospitable. My fiancee and I had the spaghetti (served with a great side salad), Firecracker chicken sandwich (with fries), and a pecan waffle. All portions were very generous for the price and the food was delicious. Even the iced tea was fresh brewed. You can tell they really run a tight ship at this place, and even when it got busy after 10PM, service never slowed. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and wish it was much closer to my home! My only complaint is that I did have to pay to park, but that's to be expected in a big downtown area.
Jon Busch 6 months agoI hadn't been to the Midnight Diner since they had moved to their current location. But rest assured, the nostalgic ambiance, food, and service had not lost one single iota of it's previous eclectic charm. We were seated almost immediately and after a short period of time, one of the waitstaff came to the table to check on us. Her name was Kayla, who was also the manager. Very engaging, extremely personable, and sharp, with a quick wit. The food was plentiful and fantastic. I am a disabled veteran, and everything is handicap accessible, throughout. From the tin-stamped ceiling squares, to the comfortably padded booth seating, music playing, multiple TV's, and framed gold records on the walls, it was truly a memorable experience. If you're anywhere near downtown, or not, it's truly worth the drive as a destination for some really good food and the engaging, and personable staff members.
