First time here did go about an hour or so befor closing. Food was pretty good but could of been a little better. Got a medium well steak and was somewhat a Little too charred which made the steak a little too burnt tasting on the outside. But overall wasn't bad. Great service. Definitely recommend.

We had a phenomenal experience at Duckworth's Grill. Mostly due to our server Tiera! She was friendly, brought our food and drinks quickly, had a great sense of humor and understood our group! The food was also wonderful and the specials were amazing

Everything came out quickly, which was a huge plus, and the chicken wings were cooked to absolute perfection—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, just the way wings should be. really good—hearty, flavorful, and just the right amount of tang. The service made the meal even better; the staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. It’s the kind of place where you can grab a quick bite or just hang out and enjoy good food without any fuss. I’d definitely say it’s worth checking out, whether you’re craving wings, a classic sandwich, or just a casual meal with great service. A really solid spot that hits all the right notes for a laid-back, tasty meal.

Went to Duckworth’s tonight after several locals told me it was a good place to eat. I sat at the bar (with more TV screens in one room then I think I’ve ever seen, but they were, oddly, not in the least distracting), and ordered a local Charlotte beer (Better Days Pale Ale- delicious, floral, aromatic and crisp). The staff were wonderful. They were all incredibly attentive, polite, never hovering, but always checked in. They served me quickly, efficiently, and professionally. I was impressed with their overall attitude, attention, and friendliness. For food I ordered an 8oz center cut sirloin, med-rare. The entrees come with two sides and garlic bread, so I chose tater tots, and a salad with ranch dressing. The side salad was fresh, cold and crisp. It included red onion slices, which I love. The dressing was very good - a classic, thick and flavorful ranch (not the watery, thin and light flavor kind that some places have). The tater tots were absolutely fantastic. Golden crispy outside, and soft, almost melt in your mouth inside. They didn’t taste like they were previously frozen, and tasted fresh and delicious. I could have eaten those all night. The steak, however, was disappointing. The cut of meat was good quality, and the char-grilled style was smoky and flavorful. It was perfectly seasoned. But it wasn’t cooked properly and was totally dry. Now, having grilled steaks and a substantial amount of meat in my life, I know that grilled meats are tricky. They are hard to get right and easy to mess up. A second too long and it’s dry as cardboard. It wasn’t that bad, but as I ordered medium rare, I felt I should have ordered rare instead. The one saving grace to the meat was that it was served with a finger-licking BBQ sauce that I thought was excellent. Not too smoky, not too sweet, not too savory. Truly fantastic BBQ sauce. Overall, I had a nice time by myself, and enjoyed the experience. Next time, I’ll order the Carolina BBQ Plate and will probably rave about it.

The standards here have really fallen down here. First off, we were there to see Queens, my wife’s Alma mater play in the NCAA tournament, the only school in charlotte in the tournament and the first school from charlotte to play in the tourney in 25 years! We get there as it starts, it is not on one TV in the whole place, they have about 5,000 TVS fyi. We ask and ask and ask and they finally get it on a a couple tvs on the other side of the building while we watch schools in front of us no one is paying any attention to. Now the food You will see our side of fries, the fact that multiple people in the kitchen and our waitress all could see them and still served them is a seriously bad sign for the food standards here. The fried pickles were a little better but were so greasy that there was a pool of grease at the bottom of the bowl. Not properly cooked. The waitress was solid, the beers took about 20 minutes to come out while I see what appears to be the manager just standing around near the back doing nothing looking very unhappy. Maybe he could jump In?? The prices don’t match the food or bar service here, we wanted to try them again as last time was not good, this will be it.
