JENNIFER 6 months agoWhat a fun, quirky and delicious place to eat! From the time you enter to the time you walk out the door this place does not disappoint. Food was fantastic with a broad range of choices from breakfast foods served all day to burgers and steaks. The musicians were great, and engaging, even visiting in the restraunt between sets. We had two young children with us that very much enjoyed it.
Ed Taguba 3 months agoHad breakfast at Hell’s Kitchen and honestly… this place hits. Kept it simple with an iced tea, ricotta lemon pancakes, and their thick-cut bacon with fresh fruit. The pancakes were super light and fluffy, with just the right hint of lemon. Not too sweet, not too heavy. The ricotta gave it that extra smooth, creamy texture, and the berries on top made it even better. Now the bacon… this was the star for me. Thick, crispy on the edges, a little caramelized, and full of flavor. Definitely not your average bacon. Service was solid and the whole place just has a cool, laid-back vibe. You can tell it’s a spot locals and visitors both enjoy. If you’re in Minneapolis, this is an easy yes for breakfast.
Andrea Stromeyer 3 months agoAlmost everything about this place is fantastic. My husband and I came in on a Saturday night. The ambiance has a fun yet chill vibe and features some amazing gonzo-style art by Ralph Steadman that fits the space perfectly. Courtney Burton was there with her jazz band which the perfect volume. I’m deaf in one ear and, even sitting in the front near the stage, I could still hear my husband speaking to me at only slightly higher than normal volume but not too much. The menu said these are the best cheese curds which is a bold statement considering I have road-tripped around Wisconsin finding the best cheese curds. These are truly the very best we’ve found, and the dipping sauce that goes with it is flavorful and better than ranch. I had the bison quesabirria and it was perfection. The tacos held their structure and weren’t soggy and were really flavorful. The consomme was also really flavorful and a fantastic consistency and wasn’t watery at all. The chips, queso, and salsa verde that came on the side were also really great- the queso had a creamy consistency and was not at all runny. As a transplanted Texan to the Midwest, I’m so glad to have finally found flavorful food. It isn’t a Tex-Mex copy, but honestly they took a Tex-Mex concept and elevated it. My husband chose the prime rib sandwich and also really liked it. The bread was nicely toasted so that it would hold its structure and not get soggy in the au jus, which was also the most perfect consistency. The fries were crispy and topped with dry rub. We ordered the brownie and aromatic bitters for dessert. The brownie wasn’t too dense or rich and really hit the spot. My husband said the bitters shot was very aromatic and herby. As far as the food goes, it was as close to perfect as I’ve found. As a heads up, this isn’t a restaurant you go to in a hurry. Plan to go slow and take your time. The food takes time to prepare, so that part is fine, but refills, etc. are slow. The servers are fun, friendly, and very patient (I had a ton of questions) and are a blast to talk to.
scott bailey a month agoWe went here for mother's Day. The service and food were all excellent. We had a party of ten and everyone really enjoyed there food. I had the ribs with two amazing sides. We also tried the rhubarb dessert wow very good. I highly recommend eating here. We will definitely be back.
Deovandski Skibinski junior 4 weeks agoDoesn't matter how many times I come here, it's always perfect. Servers like Morgin and LJ are THE VEST EVER! I love their vibes!!! Food is always the best. Wild rice porridge is my weakness, and every time I am in town, I MUST have it!!!! Drinks are tasty too, but even just the coffee itself is solid!
