Pregame stop just before the sold out PWHL Boston Fleet game at TD Garden. Small quaint typical authentic Irish pub. Nicely decorated. A bit loud since everybody talking over the live music. Great traditional Irish music. Friendly, attentive, professional and excellent service. Food was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. We ordered the pigs in blanket for appetizer. For our entrees, ordered the beef and Guinness pie, fish sandwich combo and steak tips. So good! Generous portions. Drinks are good. Can’t go wrong with a Guinness. Definitely returning to try the other items on the menu. Highly recommend.

location and atmosphere are very vibrant and fun - they’re even open super late til 2a. However The food is surprisingly underwhelming given the rates I saw online, we got the Irish trio dishes (3/5), curry fries (2/5) and clam chowder (4/5). Might come here again for the beers or Irish coffee but probably not so much the food.

I liked my experience at Emmets! Starting with the servers: they were nice and helped us finding a nice table, even when we asked to switch. She was patient and always smiling. The atmosphere at the place is cozy and maybe finer than a real pub… but this is a positive for me. Irish music playing on the background is nice and not too loud and we could enjoy our dinner comfortably. Obviously, I nice Guinness made everything even better. Food was solid but not the best Irish I had (in town and anywhere else). We tried different things: the French onion soup and the Reuben Spring Rolls. The first was good, the spring rolls could have been cooked better: they were oily and greasy, covering the taste of the filling. The Fish & Chips was pretty good: fish was very well fried and tasteful. I asked for curry sauce on the side: I am ok with them to charge me $2 for it, but I was disappointed about it since it was very watery and with little flavor. Shepherd’s Pie was good too: not the best I have ever had, but it was decent. Maybe too much mashed potatoes and too little of the rest. But flavors were good and portion were generous. I give them a 4 stars rating because I enjoyed my night there and I will definitely go back. But they must definitely do better with the food!

Food was good. Drinks were great. Service was underwhelming. Not sure if our waitress was having a bad day or what was going on with her. I consider myself a very easy to deal with patron. She had an attitude from her intro which carried over through service, Left my group hanging for extended periods, seemed annoyed when we requested something and just had a very unpleasant attitude!!

Great time and great food! Had the onion soup which is killer as well as the Guinness beef pie. The local music is great too! The only negative is I lost one of my hearing aids while there! I look forward to returning
