We just had an outstanding meal at Lufu! The service was excellent from start to finish. We ordered the Mango Lassis, Pani Puri, Garlic Naan, Kadhai Paneer, and Angara Chicken, and every dish was packed with flavor. The chicken was incredibly tender, and everything was absolutely drool-worthy. I only wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. If you’re local and haven’t had the chance to try Lufu yet, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won’t regret it!

If you're seeking authentic Indian cuisine, you will find it here. Every dish presented a complimentary explosion of flavors indicative of a well-thought-out plan. A welcoming staff and eclectic ambiance help to ensure patrons will always return. My only plea: please consider adding the Chicken Tikki Masala Taco as an appetizer!

Spice, spice, baby — and a waiter who told me to chill out I'll admit it: I spent the whole meal trying to rush our waiter. He just smiled and said, "No, that's okay. It's completely customary to come to a restaurant and chill out. You don't have to rush." My wife loved every second of it — finally, someone other than her telling me to slow down. About the food — spice, spice, baby. You will not get a dull dish here. If you're the kind of person who cooks chicken breasts with just salt and pepper and calls it dinner, this place isn't for you. For everyone else, it's a flavor playground. What we ordered: Appetizers: Crispy cauliflower, marinated chicken thighs (delicious), garlic naan, and another chicken thigh dish whose name is escaping me Mains: Saoji Goat and Angara Chicken — both excellent Drinks: I was in lager heaven. Stuck with lagers all night and they paired perfectly with my lamb dish Dessert: Weird. Skip it or go in open-minded Warm, unhurried service, mains that actually delivered, and a vibe that makes you slow down whether you want to or not. We'll be back.

INCREDIBLE. The drinks are amazing. The mango mojito was basically an alcoholic mango lassi that dangerously does not taste alcoholic. The special old fashioned (cannot remember the name) is the first old fashioned that I actually liked. It was smooth and flavorful and did not have a bite! The jackfruit biryani was full of flavor and well rounded. The tandoori chicken tikki was good, but didn’t wow me. But the garlic naan was one of the best I have ever had. It was light, crispy, and aromatic. We had the mango ice cream pop and it was a great sweet finish to the end of the meal. I will be dreaming about this place!

Stopped by Lufu Indian Cuisine during a recent trip to New Orleans and it was a fantastic find. The Dahi Ke Kabab (At French Quarter Location) was a great start — soft, flavorful, and well-prepared. But the real standout was the Palak Paneer — it had this beautiful smoky flavor that completely elevated the dish. Honestly one of the best versions I've had. I also checked out their other restaurant location and tried the Pani Puri, Chole Bhature, and Sabudana Vada. Every single item delivered. The Chole Bhature was hearty and satisfying, the Pani Puri had that perfect tangy kick, and the Sabudana Vada was crispy and done just right. What really set the experience apart was the people. From the front desk staff to the servers, everyone brought great energy. The vibe of the place was soothing and welcoming — the kind of spot where you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. If you're in New Orleans and craving authentic Indian food, Lufu Indian Cuisine is a must-visit. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
