Sharon H. 4 months agoA popular food court that was transformed from an old Coca-Cola bottling factory. The area also had some shopping but nothing really interested me. Many restaurants combined inside, sweets, drinks, international cuisines. Multiple tables and seats for customers. The cleaning crew was on top of the tables. Very efficient. The parking was quite tricky during meal time. Other than that, definitely a good spot for food.
Nehal 4 months agoThe Garage food hall is the most popular spot in Bottleworks District. An old factory building was renovated for the hall, so it has nice rustic appearance, with plenty of sunlight coming through glass panels in the roof. The hall has two sides. Each side has so many small food stores, more than 20 vendors in total. There are also multiple bars. The common area has a lot of tables and chairs for visitors to dine. There are so many variety of cuisines available, I tried the lobster roll, Brazilian cheese bread, paste; and Japanese sandwich. It was so crowded that finding an empty table was challenging. Luckily we found a group leaving, and grabbed the table as soon as we started to look for a table. Staff members were walk around the hall and cleaning every table after a party had left. The restrooms were well maintained as well. The only few downsides were parking was really tough to get next to the building, so we parked in a private lot few minutes from the food hall. The food and drinks were bit pricey, for example I got a sandwich and soda combo for $20.
Alexandrea Rivera 2 months agoJust wow!!! We were on spring break from NY, and after a long day needed a place to grab lunch. We wanted to support small businesses so we decided on the Garage Food Hall, and so glad we did! We have 5 children and my nephew, along with our friend and her 2 boys. It was definitely very busy at 1pm, but the wait for the food wasn’t bad at all. We got things from Venezuelan food, steak, chicken, pizza, burgers and more! We spent about $110 as a family of 8 on our lunches and it was so worth it. The atmosphere was so friendly, lots of people and families. We plan to come back to Indy, and this will be our first stop for lunch! Whoever is running this, bravo. I plan to vlog this and post to my tik tok channel next time. Thanks for the great atmosphere and delicious food! Yum 😋
Bhavana S a month agoThe Garage Food Hall is a great place to visit, with many different food spots all in the same place. It’s perfect if you want to try different cuisines or go with a group where everyone wants something different. There is also outdoor seating available, which makes it a nice place to relax and enjoy the food. Overall, it’s a fun spot with a good variety of options.
Sammie PYO 5 months agoThis place is a food hub located in downtown Indiana, with many different restaurants all in one area. It’s a nice spot to relax, grab a drink, walk around, and enjoy food from a variety of places. The atmosphere is good, and it feels like an international food destination with Chinese, Japanese, Brazilian food, as well as pizza, burgers, and more. There are lots of options, so it’s a fun place to explore. I had a chance to try a lobster roll sandwich and Feijoada, which is the national dish of Brazil. Unfortunately, I wasn’t very impressed. The lobster roll cost $28, which felt quite expensive for what it was. It didn’t really stand out in flavor and didn’t feel worth the price. As for the Feijoada, I wanted to try it since it’s a national dish, but it turned out to be quite bland and lacking in flavor. I probably wouldn’t order it again, though there are many other restaurants and menu items in the area that still look interesting and worth trying. One downside is parking. It’s difficult to find parking in downtown, and there’s no free parking available, so you have to pay for parking, which can be a bit annoying. Overall, it’s a lively place with a good atmosphere and lots of food choices, but some dishes may not feel worth the price, and parking can be a hassle.
