Scott Harbin 2 weeks agoA nice place for some incredible food. I would definitely come back. The business appears to have rebranded, and is now called Green Bench Brewing Co, but the menu seems to be the same. They have upgraded the decor and style from before. Out with the chalk boards, in with a large tv display that rotates through the beverage selections on tap. On that front, it appears to have much less variety on tap - less bar friendly and more trendy IPA and Cider feel. A few hazy, lager and just a couple crazy stouts for darker beers. Sad. Now the food. I had the Tampa Cuban grilled cheese. Amazing. Cooked to perfection, stuffed with pulled pork, ham and bacon, tons of melted cheese, but a little light on the pickles for my taste. The bread was crispy, but not too thick it hurts to eat it. It was so loaded with ingredients the sandwich was starting to flop - and show off that melted cheese. The chips were basic kettle style potato’s chips from a bag, which you can see lined up by the beer frisge. Nothing to write home about, but they put a decent helping on the plate. Some good French fries would be a big improvement. But you cannot beat the value of the grilled cheese. It may seem expensive at face value for a grilled cheese, but there is so much going on in that sandwich it’s easily worth the price. The atmosphere was causal, bar style counter with high tops for 8. Easy to get a group together, but small parties may end up sharing tables. The stools are hard wood, and not the most comfortable, but they seem stout under my big body. There are a few TVs on the wall around the room like a proper bar, but the overall feeling is definitely basic, industrial and kinda trendy. The staff was super friendly. Chelsea was great at helping me pick a beer I’d like, and even brought me a little sample to test it. Well done. She was friendly, efficient, and just attentive enough I knew she was there if I needed her but never in the way or obtrusive. Excellent work! Somewhere I definitely recommend, especially if you’re staying at one of the nearby hotels. Bring your group and enjoy some incredible food and and a good beer. I’ll be back!
Vince Cosentino 3 weeks agoHad a nice lunch there with my lovely wife. The food was good, not bragging rights good but good. Plenty of beer choices and the service was excellent. You could kind of tell they took over an existing restaurant by the worn look of things considering they only opened a couple weeks ago...
Brian Parker 6 months agoI had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Pint and Brew in Tampa! Even though the place was quite busy, the atmosphere was great, and the team was firing on all cylinders. I ordered the Tampa Cuban sandwich, and I can confidently say it was fantastic. Perfectly pressed, savory, and satisfying. The food coming out was clearly top-notch, and a huge shout-out goes to Sy, who was diligently behind the bar making all that great food. The beer suggestions were also spot-on! The bartender, Thomas, did a fantastic job of guiding me through their extensive selection. Both Thomas and Sy were absolute pros, constantly hustling to keep up with the crowd while remaining incredibly upbeat and friendly. Great food, great drinks, and phenomenal service from Thomas and Sy. This is a must-visit spot in Tampa!
A. Lucas 5 months agoJust stopped in for a brew and water. This establishment had a nice vibe, cute (female) bartender took my order (craft beer). Food looked good but I wasn’t real hungry so I skipped on the grub. I would recommend this place.
kali moore a month agoThe remodel is awesome. Food still as good as ever and the beer selection is awesome. Hope is the best bartender! Def stop in to check out the new beer selection and ambiance.
