Had an amazing experience at Nueva Cantina. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, lively, and welcoming. The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish felt like it was made with real care and quality ingredients. The drinks were excellent too, and the service was just as impressive — friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful without ever feeling rushed. You can tell this is a place that takes pride in what they do. Easily one of the best spots for great food, great drinks, and a great overall vibe. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

Saw the ad on social media for their Valentines Day promotion and decided to do something cute for my 16-year-old daughter – everything about the evening was perfect! We got right in and sat on the patio which was completely decked out with so many cute vignettes and decor. The heart-shaped Birria pizza was so tasty (not cinnamon-y) and my daughter loved the consommé. My drink was presented beautifully and was so tasty, we will definitely be back back back again!

You had me at taco. Then menus is available thru the qr code. Olivia on the floor and Morgan behind the bar took good care of us. 2 for $7 on basic tacos and $4 drafts for happy hour. Fun vibe in an open space with a patio too. There are now four locations in the Tampa Bay area including a new location in Palm Harbour. Thank you for your service.

Of course I’m mildly skeptical when it comes to “Mexican Food” since I’m from Chicago and I know certain ingredients aren’t available here like it is in Chicago. Well this spot is pretty damn close to Chicago Mexican Food. Ok I’ll say it. The decor and vibe is usually not my jam as it reminds of an instagram reel. I will say it is family friendly. The drinks were good as my Nueva Marg hit the spot. The apps we had was there chips and various salsas. I did like the habanero one. The salsa verde, nah bro. Ok the main event… I did the Birria Pizza and it was good. I will say dropping this in the air fryer the next day was the bomb. Now the wife had their Carne Asada Fajitas. Damn after you eat some of this, you won’t want to do to much. It was a nice flavor to it - like Chicago style - and that Carne was the good carne. That’s like the $16-$18 a pound carne not the cheap crap. The tortillas??! Hold on, they were good and not your typical ones from the area. Trust me. Danny came out and greeted us and welcomed us and found out he is from the Chicagoland area. Well damn, I guess we’re coming back. They need that salsa de mocajete though!

Visiting Tampa for the weekend and we knew we had to try this place. So glad we did! Our server Jackie was super friendly and attentive to us. Hope you indulge in those chips ASAP! Food was great quality. Pleasant surprise were the duckies in our drinks! Definitely recommend this place. :)
