Luisa Velez 2 months agoOne of the best new restaurant we have tried in a long time. The place is super cute and the food is out of this world. Service 10/10 I would say one of the best services I have had in Miami. The lamb chops are incredible. Constanza, Michael and Mohammed and the Chef Ali were incredible!! Make sure you try the hookahs
Frank Garcia a month agoCafé Fenicia is a truly wonderful addition to the neighborhood. Having a place like this within walking distance of home feels like a dream come true. Despite being only a couple of blocks away and having been open for nearly two months, I somehow hadn’t heard about it. I stumbled upon it by accident and made a point to visit the very next day. I’m a big fan of Middle Eastern cuisine, so I knew I had to give it a try. First, I have to commend the owners on the transformation of the space. From what I remember of the previous business, the interior has been completely reimagined. Despite the relatively small footprint, they’ve created a layout that feels cozy, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. For my meal, I ordered the hummus with beef, muhammara, watermelon feta salad, shish kebab, and their take on Lebanese rice pudding. The hummus was, without question, my favorite dish of the evening. It was absolutely outstanding, one of the best hummus dishes I’ve had anywhere. The beef complemented the hummus beautifully, creating a rich and satisfying combination that was hard to stop eating. The muhammara was also excellent. Deeply flavorful and genuinely delicious. If I had one small critique, it would be that I personally would have preferred it to be slightly less sweet. That’s simply a matter of taste, as I’m not particularly fond of sweeter dishes. Even so, I kept going back for more and ended up ordering extra bread just to finish every last bit. The watermelon feta salad was the only dish that didn’t quite work for me. I felt it was missing acidity to tie all the flavors together and provide balance. It also seemed to include a sweetener, perhaps honey, agave, or something similar, which pushed the dish further toward sweetness. In my opinion, watermelon already provides plenty of natural sweetness, and what the salad really needed was a brighter acidic element to elevate it. The shish kebab was very good as well. While it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, it was well-executed and enjoyable. What really stood out, however, was the rice served alongside it. It was buttery, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying, arguably one of the highlights of the meal. To finish, I had their Lebanese-style rice pudding, which was the perfect dessert. It wasn’t overly sweet, which I appreciated, and it was beautifully balanced with subtle orange notes and a pleasant textural contrast from the nuts. A fantastic way to end the meal. I also noticed several tables enjoying the tea service, and it looked wonderful. It immediately reminded me of experiences I’ve had while traveling in the Middle East and added to the restaurant’s authentic atmosphere. Overall, Café Fenicia exceeded my expectations. Great food, a welcoming space, and a genuine neighborhood feel. I’ll definitely be returning.
