Jinia Chakraborty 2 months agoBest dumplings I’ve ever had!! Such good food! We had the pork xiao long bao, pan-fried juicy pork bao (my favorite) and the dry-fried chicken wings. That was perfect amount of food for 2 people Nice outdoor seating which was covered Pretty popular spot. We waited for about 20min for a table Highly recommend this spot!
Shew An Ho a month agoMichelin 2025! The flavors were amazing. Had the Fresh cucumber with garlic sauce (just wanted to eat the whole plate, couldn’t stop eating them), pan fried dumplings (crispy on the bottom and steamed on top; different crunch profile with good flavor), soup dumplings were very good, had nice big red spoon to eat the dumplings, they a soy sauce, ginger, vinegar dipping sauce. Overall, it was amazingly good. We were able to come and had no wait for a party of 4.
vamsi C 2 months agoDumpling Home remains one of the premier destinations for authentic dumplings in San Francisco, offering a high-flavor experience that justifies its popularity. While you should expect a wait time of around 60 minutes, the kitchen’s efficiency is unmatched; once seated, your order arrives incredibly fast. The Juicy Chicken Bao is the undisputed star of the menu, delivering a literal burst of savory broth and intense flavor in every bite, while the Mongolian Beef Dumplings are equally impressive and packed with seasoning. Pair these with the solid Sesame Paste Noodles for a well-rounded meal, and be sure to utilize a pro strategy: add yourself to the Yelp Waitlist in advance and always ask for a side of their signature chili sauce to elevate the heat.
Toqa t a month agoOnly order their dumplings, don't order the other dishes. We ordered the Dan Dan noodles, the Juicy Beef Bao, the Beef Xiao Long Bao, the Season Beef Pockets, Green Beans, Green onion pancakes, and the vegetable bao. Worst order: DO NOT ORDER THE DAN DAN NOODLES. They came out cold so it was basically inedible, and there was very little sauce and seasoning so it was extremely bland. IT was defintely the worst dan dan noodles I've ever had. I was warned by a friend to not order their dan dan noodles because they also came out cold and bland when she ordered it previously, but I was assuming that was a one off instance. But it seems like their noodles are always cold and tasteless. Best order: The Juicy Beef Bao was really really good. The soup inside of the bao is really rich and flavorful. The bottom of the bao is pan fried and the top is steamed so each bite is a really satisfying texture. If I came again, which I probably won't, I'd definitely order this again. Their beef xiao long baos were also pretty good. The soup inside was also tasty. The Green beans also came out pretty cold, so I wasn't a fan. The taste and texture was good but any dish being cold ruins it. The vegetable dumplings were also pretty yummy! I will have tp say they get bonus points for having many vegetarian friendly options (I'm not vegetarian but my friends are). The green onion pancake were alright. Service etc: We came on Sunday 12pm and had to wait 20min for a table because it was pretty packed. The food came out pretty quickly but that's because the food was cold already, so I would've preferred if they took longer with the food if it was warmer. All in all, I probably wouldn't come to this spot again and would keep looking for a better dumpling restaurant. But if I came again I would only order the dumplings and get none of the side dishes.
Alexica Qian 6 months agoSteamed dumplings (Xiao long bao) are amazing. We ordered one spicy and one squash/shrimp. Pan fired dumplings are not the best in Bay Area, I’ll give a 4. A localized dumpling place in general. Good vibe and atmosphere.
