Like the atmosphere and we didn't have a great experience with the food or service. The chicken wings are something to avoid and the pizza was good. Would recommend for pizza only based on our experience. Had a couple of their ipas and wasn't too impressed with the quality. The crowd and the restaurant was very nice with friendly people. Environment is cool and the location is great in downtown Long Beach. Would go back to try the pizza.

It was my first time here and I gotta say I will be coming back. The brewery is huge itself, they've done a great job of using up the entire space. I asked to sample one of the brews on tap but I ended up going for a Mexican lager that was crisp and refreshing. I paid it with onion rings, chicken zingers, chicken wings and a buffalo chicken wrap. Overall the food was great, everything is made to order and the wings were my favorite. I recommend the Thai chili flavor with chipotle aioli!!! They have TV's so you can watch games, and movies. They also serve pizza! By the slice and whole. Parking is free for TWO HOURS inside the parking structure off of pine or the one on Broadway!

I visited the cafe part of Altar Society and had such yummy drinks and food! I got an iced Horchata Latte which was good, but the winner was definitely the Queen Mary (mocha with orange zest) which I got hot and with oatmilk. I could literally smell the orange zest so strongly through the lid which I loved because usually when I get espresso/darker flavored drinks with another fruity favor, the espresso/darker flavor tends to overpower the fruity flavor. But not with this drink! It was so delicious and I highly recommend! I also got the LBC Breakfast Sando which came with a generous side of tater tots. Not only did the food come out fast, the food was so yummy as well! The sando was full of flavor and big enough that I took part of it togo. The tater tots were so crispy and hot, just the way I like it! The service was amazing as well. The barista (Haley) and a young tall gentleman kindly greeted us and gave us big smiles as we walked through the door. Another server with blonde hair and glasses was also very friendly and lovely to chat with! However, while I was there chatting with friends, there were two male employees in the cafe area who were having a loud conversation about work-related topics that may not have been appropriate to discuss near customers. One of them was also behind the cafe counter when the other barista (Haley) was helping another customer out, and he didn’t even acknowledge us with a greeting or even a smile or nod like Haley did. I’ve worked in the food service industry as a barista and line cook before so I’m aware of satisfactory customer service, but I can’t say I was a fan of his. This is why I took a star of the rating. Overall, I highly recommend the cafe and the Queen Mary drink will definitely rock your boat :)

Such a great experience. Historic building could not be better atmosphere. Chicken wings were the best day ever had and I'm not a big fan of chicken wings, but they sounded enticing we'll definitely go back for more.

The ambiance & romance this venue provides is beautiful. Hearing the Beatles music performed by violins & cello was amazing. We only had wine at the venue, no food. The musicians are wonderful. The setting extraordinary! We cannot wait to see another Candlelight performance, but will purchase tickets earlier. Unfortunately we were in C section due to ordering late. There were, however, a good 12-14 empty seats in front of us which makes me wonder. Next time we will move up once we see no one showing up.
