llove the food, and the cooks are always very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, the waitstaff often seems to be in a bad mood and comes across with an attitude. You arrive in a good mood, but the interaction can really affect the overall experience.

Best posole I’ve had besides my grandma’s. The food is so good. Yes there’s no sign outside and it’s cold/hot depending on the weather. But this is one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. The staff is friendly. I understand when it’s busy they can’t be very attentive but that’s what happens when ur the only server and have over 5 tables. I’d still come here regardless.

Amazing place with good tasting food and service. We liked the Pozole and fried fish. My husband highly recommended the fish taco because it does not have breading, so you get a good amount of fish per taco. We are right across the dessert fridge and really wished we had room in our stomach to have one or 2.

It’s in a tent not the picture you see on Google or Yelp. Inside was cold and the food was ok with smaller portions than most. Prices were about the same as most indoor, clean tabled, heated with generous portions. Parking was interesting, the service was lackluster. I should have paid up for Nuestro Mexico or El Buen Pastor. I feel like Yelp and Google Reviews punked me because the atmosphere was cold inside the tent. I bet Summer is hot as a beast, I should have trusted my gut and left.

This is the second time I come to this restaurant. First one was a vacation and the second is for business trip. Let me tell you why! This is fantastic! 1) The most simplest snack a Mexican restaurant has is the chips! If the chips aren’t right the food isn’t going to be right. Well this Mexican restaurant gets it. The chips are freshly made! Something that all restaurants lack. However this one doesn’t. Furthermore The enchiladas is my favorite dish and this reminiscing of home. So if you’re in Bakersfield come eat here. Specially the locals love this place so if the locals love it so will you. ALL CULTURES accepted ! Check it out! I drove from Vegas Just for the enchiladas!
