We went here for lunch and dined on the rooftop patio around 1:30 PM. It wasn’t too busy which made for a really relaxing experience. The atmosphere was nice and the interior downstairs is beautiful with plenty of seating areas. One thing that was a little confusing was the hours online, it showed the kitchen was closed and reopening at 5 PM even though lunch hours were listed until 3 PM. Thankfully, we called ahead to confirm and they were open. We started with the edamame which was delicious. For my main plate, I ordered the seared tuna with mushroom risotto. The tuna itself was good, but the sauce was a bit overpowering for my taste. I also tried the blackberry mango marteani which was a little too sweet for me personally. Overall, it was still a nice lunch spot with a great rooftop atmosphere and beautiful ambiance.

This was our first visit to The Continental Mid-town and we were excited when we walked in because it had such a great vibe. We went to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful time. Our waiter was great, attentive, and so kind and patient with all the menu questions I asked because of some dietary limitations I have. We had two starters - the crispy brussel sprouts (pictured) and bbq chicken quesadilla - fabulous - and four entrees - the seared tuna (pictured), killer shrimp (pictured), the chicken tikka masala, and the strip steak. One was better than the next. It was one of the best steaks I've had, cooked perfectly medium, and the coconut thai curry with the killer shrimp was phenomenal. The seared tuna with mushroom risotto was outstanding. I didn't taste the chicken tikka masala but was told it was very good. When they brought it to the table, I immediately caught the scent of authentic masala, which was amazing. You can't go wrong with any of these dishes. If you're looking for a fun restaurant with a great vibe and unique layout (the second floor had tables for two with swinging chairs), look no further. We cannot recommend this more highly.

Where do I begin? Well let’s start with I had a change of plans and found this place through recommendations and felt like taking a night out on the town. I drove from Glassboro to here and I was greeted with great professionalism, the atmosphere was amazing, and the music was perfect. Now as my first time coming in, I had no idea what was good but my waitress Josephine L. made fantastic recommendations! I had the Steak which was fantastic and the cocktail she suggested, Risky Business, was a perfect blend between sweet and sour! In short honesty (and very nerdy talk) I wanted to feel like Bruce Wayne tonight and the staff did a very fantastic job of making me feel like it! Will definitely be returning!

The car seating booths and half-subterranean tables downstairs, wicker hammocks and comfy retro plane seats upstairs, all surrounding a most interesting chandelier, we could tell that was only the start of the fun. Can’t wait to go back to check out the rooftop seating. Don’t let the classic American diner exterior fool you. The menu showcases a lot of creative planning. Dishes range from a diverse array of cultures, and everything tastes excellent. Easily likeable yet distinct flavors. This restaurant is the full package: excellent design, theme, seating, menu creation, cooking, bar, and waitstaff. (My only suggestion would be to wipe down the walls at the end of meal service, especially the white ones along the downstairs windows.)

Good vibes. Solid menu. Just took my grandma here after Christmas shopping, its great location. Staff was kind. We shared the cheesesteak egg rolls, I had a chicken sandwich and she had a turkey club. Coffee was decent too. Definitely recommend.
