Good Dog Bar is my favorite bar in all of Center City! It’s three floors and each floor has its own vibe. I like the third floor with the pool table, darts, a tv and a few bar stools- lots of standing around and opportunities to talk to and meet people. They have a great citywide shot/beer special, using Yards Philly Standard. The food is excellent too. And of course, the photos of dogs all around are a great touch!

10/10!!! My mom and I were in the city to see a show at Kimmel Center and wanted to catch a happy hour before it. I looked online and Good Dog stood out, I’m so happy we chose this place. The ambiance and service is fantastic. Our server was Eric and he was the best! The music was super on point, such a vibe. We shared some apps - bang bang shrimp, chorizo empanadas, wings, and Mac & cheese - all of them were delicious. The shrimp was out of this world. I had a banh mi for my entree that also was top tier. We had liquid dessert, my mom an espresso martini and I had their Salted Caramel Martini… both chef’s kiss. I highly recommend Good Dog Bar.

We were in town for a show at the Academy of Music and wanted a fun place for dinner! We found Good Dog on Google Maps and made our way over! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the bartender. We sat at one of the booths, and enjoyed delicious food and beer! There was 90’s music coming from the juke box and the vibe was upbeat and happy. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a laid back, fun atmosphere, with good food! *There is a parking garage a block up that was easy to access.

I kinda wish I got food but I’m not hungry so my loss. The guy next to me at the bar got a burger and it looks & smells great. I’m just chilling, it’s right near my hotel and it’s a great place. Super nice local folks and just a good vibe here. Plus they got a sticker for my favorite Mac Miller song, whether that’s true or not but we won’t worry. Highly recommend!

What a fun bar! We celebrated our friend’s graduation as a relaxed place for people to come and go. We had the whole upstairs to ourselves. ✨ Fit for all vibes: There are three flights with three different vibes — the first floor is similar to a typical long table bar. The second floor is more sit down tables. The top floor is open area with games like the dart board, vintage game, and pool table. ✨ Service: Lisa was our mighty bar tender who was running both the second AND third floor. She was amazing, running tables and running up and down the stairs with food orders, drinks and even the cake we got. ✨ Atmosphere: Felt like a lively, quaint bar. We loved the games! 🍔 Food: (3/5) We got a burger and wings. Both were ok — imagine bar food. Burger was a little dry and dense. The wings were extremely salty — good to make me drink more! The fries were great, really easy to snack on. Great happy hour prices 1/2 off small bites! The mac and cheese our friends got looked great.
