We came as soon as they opened with our 16-month-old twins. We had to grab our own highchairs, and it looked like there were only two available for the whole restaurant. Since this is an order at the counter place where they call your name when the food is ready, it’s not a full-service environment, which is fine, but a few more accommodations for families would help. The atmosphere was friendly, and the staff mostly kept to themselves. The onion burgers were great, and the hand-battered onion rings were delicious and held together well. They also serve local brews, which was nice to see. However, there weren’t many options for children. We tried the steak nuggets, but they were a bit tough for little ones. It would be wonderful to see more kidfriendly choices; like grilled cheese or kid sized burgers; especially for a place aiming to be family friendly.

Cowboy meets mid century modern restaurant aesthetic with plush leather seats. Delicious burgers, generous portions of fresh cut fries, and condiments on every table. Great meal, great vibes. Cool place to sit down for a while.

Onion fried Theta burger was ok. The red sauce they put on it was overpowering the meat and the onions. It was almost like a tomato sauce which was unusual for a burger. Probably could have asked to remove that sauce. Fries were great and vanilla Oreo milkshake was amazing.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sun Cattle Company is one of those rare places that knocks comfort food out of the park every single time. The steak fingers are incredible—perfectly crispy outside, full of juicy, flavorful beef inside, and paired with a dipping sauce that ties it all together. And the corn dog? Absolutely crazy good—golden, light, and full of that nostalgic fair flavor but so much better. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere feels true to Oklahoma, and everything comes out hot and fresh. If you’re anywhere near OKC, this place is a must-try!

Burgers are the absolute best in the state. Local beef & awesome sides. Onion rings to literally unbelievable. So excited, I can’t wait for next time.
