Naima M a month agoAtmosphere was cool. It was my first time, but the two people I went with had been there before. They apparently remodeled or changed something. New staff maybe? Unsure. The food was okay. We got the heat seaker shrimp, the crispy sesame beef, wonton soup, the scallion pancakes, and low mein noodles. Apparently the quality has gone downhill. We COULD NOT make sense of the pricing of $13.55 greenbeans though… so we didnt get it. Food came out super fast which was my first red flag.. pancakes were greasy, the beef was pretty good, just a lot of breading.. the wonton soup I didnt have but was told it could have had more flavor. The heat seaker shrimp were good but not very crispy.. our server had great energy at first, then the vibe changed and it seemed like 6 different people kept checking in and asking how things were. I understand maybe new cooks, new management, just want to make sure things are okay but we got checked on by other people more than our own server. Also having to be interrupted multiple times to answer if food was good just felt like too much. I think 3 different people asked if we wanted boxes for leftovers but we didnt want to take them! It wasnt worth it. Our server asked if we wanted dessert and we kindly said no and under his breath I heard “I was just offering”. Like eventually I didnt like how he was and maybe he was upset we had to ask someone else to bring us things because he wasnt checking on our table, but we had to get someones attention. He just had a lot of happy energy until nearing the end which felt like something happened to change his demeanor. The weirdest part of the whole experience was as we left and were walking to our car on the side of the building, this tall bald man for whatever reason opens the backdoor and proceeds to shout to us to have a good night. Maybe im overthinking it but I have never left a restaurant and had someone make that effort to say goodnight…it just felt weird. anyway this was longer than I meant but long story short food was ok.

Val E a year agoWe walk by this place all the time! Smells good every time! We had the pleasure of going on a week day night, wasn’t super busy at 7:30ish-8 pm. The papaya margarita is delicious with mezcal, a little on the spicy side, but very yummy and can taste the mezcal. The Szechuan noodles were the highlight for me, flavorful, spicy, and delicious! Everyone around us got the 5star chicken entree, which was great, there’s definitely enough for 2 and even some more for left overs! Our waiter was Jubril, and he was attentive and helped me pick between 2 dishes (very honest!)
Cameron Nicholson 5 months agoWent here on a date with my girlfriend who has celiac and several severe allergies - they took each of them very seriously and checked with her before finalizing any dish. The whole meal was delicious and so relaxing to know we were in good hands. The specials are always great and the staff is so good at recommending drinks and food.
Sofia W a year agoDecently packed for a Thursday night. They had a variety of Asian dishes, mostly Chinese, and some Korean. I really enjoyed the dumplings and the duck fried rice. The beef and broccoli was good too, but the beef was slightly chewy. Beware, they serve large portions, so sharing dishes might be a good idea. I also noticed after finishing the food, my mouth was salty.
