Food was great! I had the Patio Combination with 2 enchilada, 1 chile relleno, 1 taco and a sopapilla….it was a lot. But I’m glad I got to try so much. The chile relleno and red enchilada sauce was the best I’ve ever had. The Sopapilla was delicious. The seating on the patio is limited and small, and it is just looking out over an ugly road but it was a really nice atmosphere none the less.

ONE AND DONE I was extremely disappointed with my experience at El Patio. This was some of the worst New Mexican food I have ever eaten. The chips and queso were terrible — the queso tasted like cheap gas station nacho cheese instead of authentic queso. Unfortunately, the rest of the food was just as disappointing and lacked flavor. What made the experience even worse was the staff arguing with me about my order she got wrong. Overall, it was a frustrating dining experience from start to finish. Honestly, Taco Bell would have been a better alternative.

The food was fantastic! We ordered two green Chile chicken enchiladas plates, chips and salsa as an appetizer, and two mango flavored iced teas. The teas you can ask for them to add flavored syrups, which was sweet enough without sugar. The salsa is fresh and builds with each bite with a decent bite/spice to it. The green Chile is spicy/hot so I would get it on the side if you are unsure. The potatoes were soft and well seasoned, the beans were good, and the enchiladas were tasty. I also got a fried egg on top of my enchiladas. Our meals came with sopapillas that were fresh but so tasty! They bring the sopapillas at the end of the meal. All the food was fresh and the wait for our food was not long. Our server was very attentive and checked in on us several times. Great service, great food, and there is the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. There was also no wait time for a table. You do have to wait at the front but they allowed us to choose where we wanted to sit. We will definitely be back! Still thinking about those sopapillas.

Service friendly, welcoming and helpful Food well seasoned and with a kick: 1) green chile enchiladas, papas (potatoes stewed with chiles), and beans 2) carne adovada stuffed sopaipilla Christmas (both green and red chile sauces), beans and papas 3) sopaipillas served with a bottle of honey Atmosphere: cute, homey and even festive with both patio and indoor seating Bottom line: great place to sample tasty New Mexican classics in a welcoming and casual atmosphere

Very quaint little place with outside seating and great service. Ordered the enchiladas with red sauce and it was quite good, but fairly spicy. I like spicy, but I was a bit surprised at the spice level. My wife said her green chili was also pretty spicy (she likes spice, too, so it was fine) They didn’t have a real margarita (liquor license thing) but I had an agave wine margarita and it was quite good.
