Love the daily Monday lamb curry special! I was surprised that for only $13, it already included rice, salad, naan, and a generous amount of chopped lamb. I really liked the curry flavor. The lamb was very tender, not gamey at all, and not overly rich or salty, the taste was just right for me. I also ordered the Nutella milkshake. I was a bit surprised that it came in a bottle, but it turned out to be really delicious. I honestly couldn’t stop drinking it because the sweetness level was just perfect. Thank youuu for making halal food available and affordable :) They also provide separate restrooms based on gender, which were clean and spacious. The people working there were very kind and respectful too.

I was visiting Baltimore for a conference and wanted to try food I don't have access to at home. This was my first time eating Afghanistan cuisine. It was delicious! I tried the aushak, chicken kabobs, mango lassi and Afghan ice cream. It was all so good. The atmosphere was cozy too!

I was in Baltimore for a few hours and stopped by. I didn’t expect the food to be this excellent. The meat was perfectly cooked. Definitely a gem. I might stop by here again. Wish there was something like this in my city. Baklava was amazing too.

I visited Maiwand grill while traveling for work, and the food significantly exceeded my expectations. The restaurant is an unassuming fast casual style restaurant which makes it a good spot for lunch or a quick dinner. I ordered the chicken and lamb kabob platter with salad and rice, and a side of hummus. Everything was top notch, the meat was perfectly cooked, rice was authentic and the hummus was the best I’ve had in the US. Delicious food, a must have in Baltimore…I’ll definitely be returning!

Good food! I came a hour before closing, scared I'd get the scraps. Thankfully, I was wrong. The place was packed with to go orders and people waiting for their takeout. I came from the Afghan burger but they ran out, which made me think the food must be good/popular. So I asked the guy behind the register, what he liked and he chose the chicken Tandoori. It was flavorful and SPICY. I had to take breaks because I suck at spice but kept coming back because it was worth the dramatic 'im dying' interludes.
