The patio is perfect for a business/work lunch. I enjoyed my time there, the views and the people watching. Quick, efficient, kind service. Incredibly delicious food! I had the wild mushroom and Swiss burger with sea salt fries and it was the best burger I’ve ever had. The housemade pickles were amazing and a perfect appetizer I didn’t know I was getting! I will be back next time I visit!

Get a burger, ANY BURGER!!! It was killer, I especially loved the fresh pickles. She got Brussels and I got fries and we split and man was it amazing! It was all so good we had to try their shakes and they really capped the meal. The non-alcoholic chocolate is truly something but I have to go with the alcohol version of the peanut butter shake!!!! A perfect end to a perfect meal!

Our first day the wait was almost an hour, so I tried again a little earlier the next day. I'm glad we did. The candied bacon and slight spice of the deviled eggs was fantastic. The burger was cooked well and had great flavor. The service was wonderful. Even on a busy day, the GM made her way to our table to ask about our experience. I would highly recommend stopping in.

Out of town on business and with limited options within walking distance, I decided to give The Capital Burger a try. Not only was it conveniently located, but placing my carryout order was quick and seamless. I ordered the Kung Pao Brussels sprouts, Parmesan truffle fries, and a salted caramel shake. Every item was absolutely delicious and exceeded expectations. The flavors were well-balanced, the portions were satisfying, and the quality was evident in every bite. Beyond the food itself, the service was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. Even from what I could tell while picking up my order, the atmosphere was welcoming and inviting. Overall, this was a standout dining experience and definitely worth a second visit.

Hands down the best burger I’ve ever had. I know that’s not saying much as a Canadian, but every time I make it out to D.C., I make a point of coming back. The mushroom burger was exceptional—perfectly cooked, deeply savory, and rich without being heavy. The balance was spot-on, with the mushrooms adding real depth rather than acting as a garnish. The truffle fries were crisp, and well-seasoned. The bacon old fashioned deserves its own mention. Smoky, slightly sweet, and genuinely well-constructed, not a gimmick. It paired surprisingly well with the burger and felt thought-through.
