I must have been here 10+ times as this is my default choice when I am at work. I really like the decor of this place. It’s clean and usually not busy during lunch time. The price is reasonable and the food was good and consistent. I can’t say I tried every thing on the menu but the fish taco is one of the best and I highly recommend. Good for party of 1 - 6 people. Parking may be hard to find but there is a paid ACE parking lot just 40 yards away. Also 2 hour street parking if you can find one. No free parking.

We were looking for a place to eat because the food at the hotel was extremely expensive. We didn’t want to pay those prices, so we found this little Mexican gem close to the hotel—and we’re so glad we did. There was no wait, the prices were very reasonable, and the service was quick, friendly, and prompt. The restaurant was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. We ended up walking there, which worked out well because parking on the street is very limited. If you’re looking for good Mexican food that’s served quickly and at a fair price, I would definitely recommend this place.

The food here is super good. I like the location because it’s quite nice to eat outside and see the trees and people walking by. The only deal was the service was pretty bad. We had to repeat our order two or three times, the seats outside and the table were not very clean. We asked for a rag to wipe it down and she didn’t bring one. Also, the corona beer we ordered didn’t have lime in it. We had to ask for that also. I had to ask for a knife to go with my food as she only brought a fork and a napkins. It could be because we came early. I’m not quite sure but the people were nice— just not on the ball.

Ordered the loaded fries for $18. The taste was good overall, especially the toppings and flavor, but the fries themselves could’ve been better quality, I asked for them to be extra crispy. Unfortunately, they were a bit soggy, even though I arrived within about eight minutes of ordering. The portion size also felt a little light for the price. Not bad, but I expected a bit more value and better fries for $18.

Honestly the service was decent but the food, in San jose, not great. Maybe if you drink its better but we are not drinkers. My carne asada taco was good. The ceviche was pretty good, but the toastada was stale. My fish taco, bland. My partners nachos presentation was good, meat tender and well seasoned but they used liquid cheese. Didn't feel authentic at all. It was decent all around but I think we'll stick to food trucks next time for more authenticity.
