Hanoi 36 is a wonderful food tasting experience! Northern Vietnamese made with generations of expertise. Food quality is the best i have had in Sacramento (yes, including South Sac). Tried several of the appetizers and loved them all. The Pork sausage and crispy pork sticks are a menu must try, very delicious and good portions for the cost. The Spring rolls are good with a nice peanut sauce. The Bun Cha Hanoi and Beef Pho w fresh noodles are absolute winners and we will come back many times for these alone. The Crab fried rice was fluffy with fresh crab and the garlic noodles (we added grilled chicken) was on point as well. We have added Hanoi 36 to our rotation and will be back and recommend to anyone looking for delicious Vietnamese food. The only issue we had with the restaurant was the lighting was so bright and the utincels were low quality it took away from how amazing the food was and intimacy of the dining experience but do not let that stop you from going here. Last perk is they let you bring in your own wine! No corkage fee! That made it an even better experience and wallet friendly! Must try Hanoi 36!

great spot for authentic vietnamese cuisine/dishes that you normally wouldn’t find elsewhere in the area! the food was delicious. be prepared to find street parking as the parking lot is quite small, but that is as expected since the restaurant is in one of the busier areas of sac

BUN CHA!!! It’s so hard to find here in sac. Ever since I ate at Bún Chả Hương Liên which is the restaurant Obama and Anthony Bourdain ate at in Hanoi, I’ve been looking for a similar meal here back home- and I have found it!!! It was spot on 👌 everything here is so fresh and delicious! This was also the best bahn mi I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for authentic north Vietnamese cuisine, this is the place!! 🇻🇳

I went there for Bun Đâu Mam Tom and it met my expectations on taste. I went on a Sunday and it wasn’t busy. For my meal and a small Sapporo it was $27 dollars. The staff were friendly. Service was quick. The place was clean.

Absolutely loved this place. Its such a hidden gem on the busy streets of midtown. The parking is decent as they have a lot in the back of the place. What I loved is that they have a kids size pho with cooked beef so if you want a small pho and something else the portion is amazing! and the price is super affordable. The food came out fresh and super delicious. Cant complain, enjoyed the food, atmosphere and customer service. I will be back and bringing more people with me!
